The following are this weeks class times but remember to book in for any gradings or seminars before the Wednesday to benefit from the early bird booking fee.

Sundays Class

(This class may be cancelled soon if numbers do not increase so keep checking here for progress)

Squad Selections/Sparring Seminar - Sunday 12th February; 11.30-1pm

Weapons Seminar - Sunday 26th February - limited to 25 students so book and pay early to reserve a place (students who did not do the 1st seminar can attend this one)

Early Bird Discounts
To benefit from the early bird booking prices students must have booked in and paid for their grading or seminar no later than the Wednesday before the grading or seminar. Striped belt gradings are £15, but £17 after the Wednesday, Full colour gradings are £20, But £22 after the Wednesday, And seminars are either £7 or £10, But £9 or £12 after the wednesday.

SUCCESS FOR KAIZEN-DO KARATE-BLACK BELTS

Kaizen-Do Karate have just held recent Black Belt gradings and 3 students managed to pass the gruelling 3 hour intense grading. Sensei Dervish commented that "at this level there is absolutely no room for any leeway, all students must focus throughout and show the panel that they want and deserve the highly acclaimed grade". For students to achieve this level they must have been training for a minimum of 3.5 years and constantly show respect, etiquette and discipline in the Academy but also in their everyday lives. SUCCESS FOR KAIZEN-DO KARATE-BEGINNER GRADES

Sensei Dervish who achieved Coach of the Year 2010 has held the 2nd round of beginners gradings at his full time Academy; Kaizen-Do Karate. Chief Coach Sensei Dervish said "considering all students have been doing Karate for a maximum of 6 months all did very well. Our standard is excellent and to cope with vastly growing student numbers in our Academy we have had to hold more classes at our full-time premises." SUCCESS FOR KAIZEN-DO KARATE-BEGINNER GRADES

Kaizen-Do Karate has held its 1st round of BEGINNER gradings this year & considering all students have been doing Karate for a maximum of 9 months all did very well. Chief Coach Sensei Dervish said that 'our beginner classes have to be limited to 20 students and when we exceed this we add additional classes to our timetable which is why we achieve high results. I know other clubs in the area have over 50 students per class and they don't offer new classes, I often wonder how they can offer quality tuition? Our brand new premises is doing fantastic and all students standard is improving.' SUCCESS FOR KAIZEN-DO KARATE-ADVANCED GRADES

Kaizen-Do Karate held its latest advanced grading in their full time Karate Academy. The average mark of those successful was a merit. Chief Coach Sensei Dervish said the 'advanced grades know exactly what amount of effort is required to achieve the next belt, if they or I have any doubts then they do not book in '. Sensei Dervish commented that 'the Academy's standard is excellent because we have limited classes and gradings and will fail students if they are not to standard." The Academy's brand new full time premises is coping with the growing demand of students wanting to be part of the fastest growing Karate Academy in Rochdale by holding more classes.
